Dr. DuBois completed his medical training at the University of Iowa College of Medicine after an undergraduate degree at Grinnell College in Iowa.  He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. He currently has a pain management practice in Austin, Texas.

In addition to his work as a physician, Dr. DuBois is an avid computer user, programmer, and amateur sculptor. His awareness of the marked increase in computer-related repetitive stress injuries, combined with his scientific background and artist’s eye for form, resulted in the PowerPaw’s completely novel approach to the problem of supporting the upper extremities while allowing normal freedom of movement when using a computer or other tools..
